It was an emergency! My AC went out and the forecast was 114 degrees today. Mike answered my call first thing this morning and even though I know he was highly in demand he found a way to get to our home by the end of the day. What a blessing! The AC is back and his repair came just in time. I highly recommend this company. When others may have taken advantage of the opportunity, Mike was a straight shooter and repaired what was necessary to get us back up and running all while being fair and honest. I don't even know where to begin with regards to accolades for Mike Christensen Heating and A/C. His company was a referral from a work friend of my wife but was actually a blessing from above. We have had symptomatic issues with our A/C system for over 20 yrs that no other companies could diagnosis and Mike was able to find real the problem within minutes. We are now happily enjoying the fruits of his knowledge and labor in a cold house. Additionally, I may have failed to mention this but his costs were exponentially less than the other AC companies that couldn't find or fix the problem. We had one of our condensers fail in the middle of the night and Mike was able to come out first thing in the morning and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour. Michael came as a referral from a general contractor. Even though his business is pretty much exclusively larger commercial jobs, he agreed to come by and take a look at my HVAC, which had been leaking water out of the ceiling air handler. Michael came with one of his guys within one day, was super friendly, knowledgeable and was totally willing to explain everything that was going on with my system. The more I talked with him the more I could see he had "uber"-experience. He checked things out thoroughly, flushed the gunk out of the line to outside, and explained I would need a new unit (I won't go into the details here, but he was 100% correct in his assessment). Michael gave me a full written report on both my inside (attic) unit and the condenser outside, including pictures and determining the model and vintage of the unit for me--all in the one visit! I was flabbergasted because several other contractors had come by and seemed clueless about my unit and what the problem might be. I will go to Michael in any future situation as I feel 100% confident he will know what I need to do and be completely honest about what is involved. Michael, thank you for all of your much needed assistance and expertise! I could not have gotten through what became a full system replacement without your help brother!!! 5 stars!!!

After receiving 5 quotes for a new HVAC system (ranging from $13k to $28k), a neighbor insisted we call Mike who asked; "why do you think you need a new system?" I explained the capacitor had been replaced twice in 3 years. Mike said; "So what...the newer EPA-compliant capacitors fail all the time. Just keep replacing the $50 capacitor and wait until the compressor fails, which could be several more years." He went on to explain how most HVAC companies replace the capacitor, charge $400 bucks and say "you'll need a new system pretty soon...but we'll apply the $400 as a credit" to your new system. This is exactly what one of our quotes did. Yup, someday the compressor will die and we'll be uncomfortable for a few days. But not $20k uncomfortable! Mike is now a permanent member of our Contact list for HVAC issues. Thanks.

Every once and a while, there is a bright light at the end of a dark Tunnel. I found Mike via the Next Door App while I was on a rant about our experience with our then horrible home warranty company, American Home Shield. Mike reached out to me, and with NO Expectations on his side, provided me with guidance on how to get this expensive warranty company to keep their promises. With his help, I was able to get our now FORMER Home Warranty Company (we dropped them after we learned the truth about them) to cover the proper repair of our system (at that time by a different contractor) But how can anyone forget that level of the unsolicited professional kindness?
